Celergo's roots lay in the development of expatriate administration software for multinational companies back in the late 1990's. Our team is staffed with professionals with international experience in managing multi-country businesses, expatriate management, global payroll management and ASP technologies.
The name of the company, Celergo (Sa lehr go), is derived from two Latin words meaning “swift payment”. The nature of our business is to make swift payments for companies with operations in multiple countries. With the ever increasing globalization of businesses there are still many inefficient processes that make it difficult to operate on a global scale.

Celergo’s core competency is international payroll for locals and expatriates. We are not just a “part” of a larger outsourcing engagement nor are we coupled with specific HR services/technologies. We have excellent expertise in expatriate management, divestitures, acquisitions and new country start-ups. Although Celergo manages payrolls in all the major countries in North America, Europe and Asia, we are uniquely able to manage payrolls in more challenging countries such as those in Latin America, Middle East and Africa. We have a very educated, multilingual staff that brings a consultative versus clerical approach to our implementation and client services organization. We have processing centers in Chicago, London and Singapore that provide full customer services to our clients to meet their needs across multiple time zones. Our goal is to provide our clients with consistent, standardized processing and reporting on a global scale to increase their internal efficiency and expertise. We become an extension of our clients’ internal payroll teams and continually partner with them to bring the best value and practices to their organizations.
